Greetings Imagine Leeland parent and guardians,
The Imagine Foundations at Leeland Board of Managers and Imagine Regional Staff held another productive meeting with the Vestry on Tuesday, April 8. The Vestry negotiating team was happy to inform everyone that the full Vestry has accepted the proposed terms for the new lease and we will move forward with final drafts of the new lease document. In light of this development, the Imagine Schools Team and the Foundations Board have requested that the Facility Use Agreement for the Berkshire campus be removed from the Board of Education’s agenda for this Thursday’s Board Meeting. Based on the discussion with Vestry, we hope to have the new lease executed by the end of April, and we are already working on improvements to the Leeland campus for next school year, including technology and security upgrades in partnership with the Vestry. Please contact Mr. Shawn Toler, Regional Director of Maryland Imagine Schools at email@example.com with any additional questions regarding negotiations with the Vestry.

Thank you to those who attended the Foundations Board Meeting on April 3rd at Imagine Leeland. As mentioned in the meeting we are in the process of creating a "Parent Engagement Plan" to help us better serve our parents, staff, and most importantly our students. The "Parent Engagement Plan" will ensure parents that moving forward they will have a chance to be involved in decision making that impact our students.
Please review the draft copy of the "Parent Engagement Plan" and forward your comments and feedback to bod@imagineschoolsmd,org by 5 pm (EST) April 6, 2014. Again, we thank you for your support and we look forward to working collaboratively with you in the future. Read more here.
